Other medications that have a strong link to dementia, Benzodiazepines, Non-benzodiazepine prescription sedatives, Anticholinergics this is most over-the-counter sleeping aids, Antipsychotics, and mood-stabilizers. 3 – Always get plenty of restful sleep. 4 – Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. 5 – Stay active. 6 – Challenge your brain to try new things get out of the rut.
